What we're looking for
University degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of experience as Project Controls and Document Management in large-scale investment projects (CAPEX exceeding 100 million euros) in industrial, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas sectors, etc., with demonstrated experience in multi-contractor (EPCM/EPC) environments and in complex construction sites, both brownfield and greenfield.
Experience working under an EPCM or PMC (Project Management Consultancy) governance model or representing the end client, with solid knowledge in planning control, document control, risk control, reporting,....
Proficiency in Power BI, monitoring dashboards, and digital tools for project progress measurement management.

The role
We are looking for a Project Controls/Document Controller (PCDC) to fill one of the key positions for the project located in Saint-Nazaire, near Nantes (France), with an expected duration of between 25-30 months.
What you'll do
The PCDC within an EPCM environment, will have the following main Responsibilities:
Document control
Monitoring and updating the document lists for engineering, suppliers, and contractors, including client documentation associated with the project development.
Organization of received documentation (from client and suppliers) in SharePoint, daily updating of the review status of generated documents, and generation of transmittals.
In coordination with the Project Manager, Procurement Manager, and the Construction Manager:
Progress control of engineering documents, procurement management, and construction progress
Generate project progress reports on a weekly and monthly basis
Coordination with the Planning Manager (the project already has a full-time planner on site) regarding the scheduling of EPCM-specific tasks, such as:
Supervising the preparation and control of detailed engineering, procurement, and construction schedules, ensuring that all tasks are aligned with what is planned in the baseline (engineering deliverables, tendering processes, material availability, commissioning milestones, plant shutdowns, and high-risk construction activities...)
Progress monitoring, productivity, and cost control: Ensure and report an accurate measurement of progress (control of hours incurred versus those planned within the EPCM), productivity monitoring, and proactive planning of recovery actions to maintain compliance with deadlines and budget across all project phases
Change, risk, and incident management: Identify and manage risks at all stages of the project, applying change control processes and guaranteeing the rapid resolution and mitigation of critical incidents, with clearly defined responsibilities and effective monitoring.
