What we're looking for

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar. Having completed a Master's degree related to the area is highly valued.
At least 10 years of experience in the selection, specification, and management of materials for piping systems, especially in non-metallic materials such as GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy), HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and other composite materials.
Experience in power generation projects, especially in power plants, participating in piping materials engineering activities, design, specification, and project execution.
Deep knowledge of the main international codes and standards applicable to the design and specification of piping systems.
Knowledge of the technical and operational requirements associated with EPC projects in the energy sector, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during the engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
High level of English, with the ability to operate in international environments.

What you'll do

Review contractual documentation and technical scope related to piping materials, ensuring the correct coordination and integration of information with the rest of the disciplines involved in the project.
Prepare, review, and validate associated technical documentation, including piping classes, calculation reports, technical specifications, inquiry and purchase requisitions, as well as typical assembly drawings.
Supervise and control the progress of material deliverables, guaranteeing compliance with project planning, deadlines, and objectives.
Prepare progress reports and case studies of completed projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and work methodologies.
Participate in project planning, identifying and estimating the volume of engineering deliverables, resource needs, hour allocation, and execution schedules.
Collaborate with the different engineering and project management areas to guarantee compliance with technical, contractual, and quality requirements.
