Observe, learn, and provide direct and always supervised support to the healthcare team in patient care at home or in consultation. The student will participate as an active observer and healthcare collaborator, acquiring competencies in respiratory physiotherapy, equipment management, and patient education.

Main Functions and Responsibilities (Always Supervised):

• Support and Participation in Home Care/Consultation: Accompany the tutor on home visits and consultations to observe and provide support in the processes of discharge, review, incident resolution, and equipment removal (oxygen therapy, CPAP/AutoCPAP, Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation, aerosol therapy, and secretion equipment). Assist and collaborate in the preparation or shared execution of functional and diagnostic tests (pulse oximetry, walking tests, installation of polygraphies or readings).
• Support in Health Education and Respiratory Physiotherapy: Collaborate with the tutor in explanations and demonstrations to patients and caregivers regarding the correct use, safety standards, and hygiene of devices and interfaces. Support the supervised teaching of respiratory physiotherapy techniques and instrumentation
• Collaboration in Adherence Monitoring and Telemonitoring: Provide support in detecting possible adaptation barriers to discuss and address them together with the tutor. Help in the review and shared reading of telemetric data as a pedagogical tool for case management.
• Support in Quality, Logistics, and Material Traceability: Participate in testing and verification workshops for equipment (CPAP, concentrators) alongside technical/healthcare staff. Collaborate in the preparation of material kits, verification of consumables, and understanding the traceability and logistics of the service.
