What you'll do

At Air Liquide, we are looking for a Plant Manager to lead operational management, safety, quality, and people management at our production center. Reporting to Management, you will be the person primarily responsible for coordinating production, maintenance, storage, and transport, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with current regulations (GMP, Food Safety, IMS, and Seveso).

  • Direct and motivate the plant team (Production Coordinators and Operators), fostering an environment of trust and a good working atmosphere.

  • Define, coordinate, and prioritize production plans, cylinder movements, and gas transport (industrial, medical, food, special).

  • Establish and supervise technical and financial KPIs, managing the budget (CAPEX/OPEX), cost control, and benchmarking with other European plants.

  • Guarantee the preventive and corrective maintenance of the facility and process equipment to ensure maximum availability and quality.

  • Operate the plant under the Group's safety, environmental, and quality standards (IMS), Seveso regulations, and applicable local regulations.

  • Guarantee strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for medicines/medical devices and Food Safety.

  • Supervise the correct validation of processes, production evaluations, and the maintenance of regulatory documentation.

  • Evaluate and validate changes in processes and equipment in coordination with the Qualified Person (QP/RTF).

  • Guarantee the correct management of customer complaints and corrective actions.

  • Implement action plans for the continuous improvement of productivity and participate in technical development projects.

  • Manage and monitor the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with other plants, centers, or Group entities.

  • Optimize external costs through the application of purchasing policies.

  • Define competency matrices, ensure personnel training/qualification plans, and perform performance evaluations.

  • Act as the company representative before local authorities, inspections, and external audits.

  • Be the internal point of contact with workers' representatives.
