Manufacturing Engineer for Piping

At Airgrup, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for Pipe to join our technical team and directly participate in the improvement and optimization of our manufacturing processes for the aeronautical sector.

We are looking for someone with initiative, problem-solving skills, and a clear focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement, who enjoys working close to production and in contact with different areas of the organization.

Your main objective will be to provide technical support to production and ensure the evolution of our manufacturing processes, providing solutions to day-to-day issues and seeking new technologies that allow us to manufacture more efficiently, safely, and competitively.

You will have a cross-functional view of the process, working especially on automation, product quality, manufacturing technology, and the development of team capabilities.

Technical support and troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support to the workshop and to the different departments regarding production-related issues.
• Analyze manufacturing problems and propose effective and viable solutions.
• Participate in resolving incidents and in the continuous improvement of processes.
• Provide technical support during customer visits and audits.

Innovation and automation:

• Identify and evaluate new technologies and manufacturing solutions applicable to our products.
• Promote the incorporation of technologies that improve our processes.
• Particularly participate in automation projects for production processes.
• Analyze opportunities for improvement in the manufacturing processes of pipe assemblies.

Quality and processes:

• Contribute to ensuring the quality and integrity of the product.
• Analyze possible defects and participate in technical decision-making regarding their acceptance or treatment.
• Ensure compliance with aeronautical regulations, specifications, and requirements applicable to the different processes.
• Participate in the definition and improvement of manufacturing procedures and instructions.

People development:

• Evaluate the technical knowledge and skills of the operators in the area.
• Identify training needs.
• Design and oversee the training plan for the area, ensuring that the team has the necessary knowledge to properly carry out their functions.
• Collaborate with Production and Human Resources in the development of the team's technical capabilities.
