The role

Do you have manual dexterity and a passion for precision work?

At Airgrup, we are looking to hire a Parts Masking Operator to participate in the manufacturing and finishing process of metal components destined for the aeronautical sector.

We are looking for a meticulous, skillful, and detail-oriented person, capable of working with precision following blueprints and technical documentation. In this position, every millimeter counts to achieve the finish and quality demanded by the aeronautical sector.

What you'll do

Your main responsibility will be to perform the masking of metal parts prior to the painting processes, protecting via tape and specific materials those areas which, according to the blueprint, must not receive treatment or paint.

This is an essential job to guarantee that each part complies exactly with the required technical and finishing specifications.

  • Perform the masking of aeronautical metal parts following the indications of the corresponding blueprint.
  • Identify the areas of the part that must remain protected before the painting process.
  • Correctly select and use specific masking tapes and materials.
  • Manually cut and adapt the protective material to the geometry of each part.
  • Precisely cover the surfaces and areas that must not be painted.
  • Visually check that the masking corresponds to the specifications indicated in the blueprint.
  • Detect and communicate possible anomalies or discrepancies regarding the technical documentation.
  • Comply with established quality, safety, and production procedures.
