About the role

🚀 Are you passionate about construction and the railway sector? Join Aldesa and grow with us!

📍 Location: Vila-seca (Tarragona)

🛠 Position: BIM Technician - Tram Project

At Aldesa, every day is an opportunity to learn, innovate, and overcome new challenges. We are looking for a BIM Technician to join our team on the New Tarragona Tram Operating Center Project - Vila-seca.

This is a strategic, comprehensive railway project. The project involves the construction of a 6,300 m² industrial complex (workshops, offices, and auxiliary buildings), site development, a track layout (five workshop tracks and four storage tracks), 750 V catenary, and highly complex installations.

What you'll do

You will actively participate in BIM management and coordination during the execution phase, integrating the various disciplines of building, civil works, railway superstructure, and installations. If you have experience in BIM methodology applied to railway infrastructure or industrial building projects, we want to meet you!

  • 3D modeling of the operations center infrastructure, including the building, workshop area, track layout, catenary, and highly complex installations.

  • Coordination of BIM models across the various disciplines (civil works, industrial building, CSA, MEP, track superstructure, and electrification), ensuring model federation and clash detection and resolution.

  • Management of technical documentation and linking of drawings, construction details, and specifications within the Common Data Environment (CDE).

  • Version control and change management: continuous model updates in line with design or construction modifications (as-built), ensuring traceability.

  • Preparation of reports, model-derived quantities, visualizations, and BIM documentation for the site team and project management.

What we're looking for

  • Education: Specific training in BIM methodology, accredited Master's degree, or Technical Engineering degree (Engineering, Architecture, or Technical Architecture).

  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience as a BIM Technician on civil works, industrial building, or railway infrastructure projects.

  • Technical skills

Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.

Experience working with Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Experience or knowledge of GIS, Presto, Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Power BI is a plus.

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams and provide direct technical support to production.

What you'll get

🎁 What do we offer?

  • Stability: Contract in a solid work environment with long-term projects.

  • Continuous training: Specific training plans for your role and professional development.

  • Flexible compensation: Includes transportation, restaurant, medical insurance, daycare, and training.

  • Pension plan, in accordance with the Construction Collective Agreement.
