The role

130 years of trust, time to shape what's next. Allianz Group is one of the world's leading insurers and asset managers - built on over a century of stability, expertise, and financial strength. Allianz Services is where that legacy meets the future. 8,200+ people. Eight countries. Three continents. We deliver specialized services to clients within Allianz Group, powered by AI, advanced analytics, and a mindset that refuses to stand still. From core insurance operations to engineering and consulting services, we reimagine how insurance works. What truly sets us apart are our people and the trusted partnerships we build, anchored in our values of expertise, integrity, and empowerment. We don't support the business. We shape it.

Business Transformation is the transformation and innovation engine of Allianz. We simplify and harmonize business models across markets by developing scalable processes, digital solutions and global platform capabilities.

Our Barcelona Hub works with Operating Entities and Group functions worldwide to coordinate strategic transformation priorities, establish effective governance and strengthen financial transparency.

As our Senior Finance & Pricing Transformation Analyst, you will help shape how a global business platform is priced, funded and financially managed. You will take ownership of pricing-model development, fee calculations, budgeting and performance insights, while partnering with senior stakeholders across an international organization.

This is not a purely reporting-focused position. You will have the opportunity to challenge assumptions, develop new approaches and turn complex financial information into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.

What you do

  • Develop and evolve the target pricing model, translating platform costs, usage drivers and business assumptions into a transparent, scalable and sustainable pricing approach
  • Own recurring fee-calculation and allocation processes, including data validation, scenario modelling, quality assurance and the clear communication of outcomes to participating entities
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and actuals reporting, identify deviations and provide actionable financial insights to business and finance stakeholders
  • Support funding and investment decisions by preparing business cases, financial scenarios and decision materials for senior governance committees
  • Partner with Operating Entities and Group functions to align pricing assumptions, resolve financial questions and build commitment around shared outcomes
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations, turning complex financial, operational and performance data into concise and compelling management storylines
  • Lead workshops and cross-functional workstreams, define actions, monitor progress and actively manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
  • Improve finance and governance processes through standardization, automation, advanced analytics and practical applications of Generative AI

What you bring

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in finance, pricing, controlling, commercial management, consulting, transformation or program management.
  • Experience developing or working with pricing, cost-allocation, charging or financial models.
  • Strong financial acumen, including practical exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to build robust models, scenarios and decision-support analyses.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills and the ability to create concise, executive-ready storylines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and move complex topics forward independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Practical experience using Generative AI to improve analysis, communication, automation or productivity.

It would be a plus if you have

  • Experience in insurance, banking, financial services or a technology-enabled business.
  • A background in finance transformation, controlling, commercial finance or consulting.
  • Exposure to platform pricing, service charging, transfer-pricing principles or shared-service cost allocation.
  • Experience preparing governance or steering-committee meetings and working with senior executives.
  • Experience collaborating across countries, cultures and organizational boundaries.

What we offer

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.

  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).

  • From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.

  • Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.
