Junior Accountant

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably inclusive of accounting modules

· 3-4 years of Accounting experience, some knowledge in BS & P&L

· Previous experience working for large corporation

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance department, you will be a part of KLG’s Barcelona-based accounting team, providing accounting support to the Accountant Manager.

· Review of invoices on Basware

· Invoice allocations per reports

· Provide assistance in preparing shared services recharges monthly and issue invoices to related parties

· Provide assistance in processing invoices from related parties

· Provide support with intercompany reconciliations

· Control of Credit cards expenses claims as well as the related monthly accruals.

· Provide assistance with fixed asset register and depreciation

· Provide assistance with prepayments

· Provide assistance with accruals

· Provide assistance with balance sheet (suspense clear up, payables balance reviews, etc)

· Providing ad-hoc support when required by senior members of the team

· Intermediate Excel knowledge (V Lookups, pivot tables, formatting of data…)

· Strong customer service ethos and high attention to detail

· Systematic and organised approach

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

· Ability to process high volumes of work, to deadlines with minimal supervision

· Quick to pick up and apply knowledge

· High level of initiative, self-motivation and drive

· Reliable with a flexible attitude

· Willing to learn and progress in account
