The role

We are looking for an RPG Programmer Analyst - AS400 (Economic-Financial Area) to join our team for a project involving the maintenance and development of critical financial applications at the offices of a major corporate client in Barcelona.

The selected professional will work under the direct supervision of the Technical Lead for the area, actively participating in the creation of technical designs, software development in RPG/DB2, and the execution of unit tests on IBM iSeries (AS400) environments. Likewise, they will play an active role in the evolution of financial business applications and in providing support to key users.

What you'll do

🔑 Responsibilities:

Prepare technical designs, program, and execute software unit tests in the AS400 environment based on the defined functional requirements.
Guarantee maximum stability, performance, and quality of deliveries in developments, given the high criticality of the financial area applications.
Collaborate in the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the economic-financial area systems, providing continuous support to users.
Maintain constant and fluid communication with the Technical Manager, business areas, and other teams within the IT department.
