AS-400 Programmer/Analyst

At DXC Spain we are looking for an AS-400 Analyst Programmer to join our great development team and take part in a major project in the banking sector.

Requirements:

• Carrying out technical analysis and programming tasks.

• Obtaining user information in collaboration with their supervisor to develop system modules.

• Collaborating in the functional and technical design of modules with a certain degree of supervision.

• Supporting the application of emerging technologies and best practices.

• Assigning very short-term tasks to one or two people and supervising the programming.

• Contributing to the exchange of knowledge within the team.

• 5 years of prior experience as an AS-400 Programmer/Analyst.

• Technologies: Host and AS-400 environments, mastery of RPG AS-400 (ILE, Free, or traditional), IBM ecosystem tools; Mainframe, DB2, CL.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Leadership skills - experience leading small teams

• Previous experience in banking and/or insurance is desirable.

• English and French valued.

En DXC España estamos buscando un/a Analista Programador/a AS-400 para unirse a nuestro gran equipo de desarrollo y participar en un importante proyecto del sector bancario.

Requisitos:

• Realización de tareas de análisis técnico y de programación.

• Obtener información del usuario en colaboración con su superior para la realización de módulos del sistema.

• Colaborar en el diseño funcional y técnico de módulos con un cierto grado de supervisión.

• Apoyar la aplicación de tecnologías emergentes y mejores prácticas.

• Asignar tareas a muy corto plazo a una o dos personas y supervisar la programación.

• Contribuir al intercambio de conocimientos dentro del equipo.

• Experiencia previa de 5 años como Programador/a AS-400.

• Tecnologías: Entornos Host y AS-400, dominio de RPG AS-400 (ILE, Free o tradicional), herramientas del ecosistema IBM i; Mainframe, DB2, CL.

• Buenas habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo.

• Capacidad de liderazgo- experiencia liderando equipos pequeños

• Deseable experiencia previa en banca y/o seguros.

• Valorable inglés y francés.
