• University degree or Master's in Agronomic Engineering, Agriculture, Food Science and Technology, or similar.
• 3 years of experience in Fruit and Vegetable purchasing.
• Languages - Catalan, Spanish, English
• Advanced Excel
• Availability to travel and possession of a driver's license.
• That you are a person with initiative, communicative, with negotiation skills and commercial vision.

We want to incorporate a Fruit and Vegetable Purchasing Technician to guarantee the execution of purchases and the procurement of U1 products, with the aim of ensuring their availability according to the needs of Grup Ametller under the best conditions of price, term, quantity, and quality.

• You will negotiate prices with Univers 1 product suppliers in complex and fluctuating markets, with the aim of guaranteeing supply within the fixed terms and with the required quality levels.
• You will guarantee an optimal level of demand forecasting for the stores and, based on this, calculate and plan product purchases, informing suppliers of needs and avoiding surpluses and stockouts.
• You will carry out the purchase of products from associated farmers or markets, with the aim of guaranteeing product quantities per campaign or annually.
• You will ensure the 30% established in the Group of products not covered by our farms or by suppliers, in order to guarantee demand in the stores.
• You will carry out visits to points of sale to check product quality, its display and location, and to verify that they comply with the established guidelines.
• You will propose promotions to the Purchasing Manager to facilitate decision-making and their implementation in-store.
• You will analyze new products in the market to propose their introduction within existing categories or new categories.
• You will participate, together with Quality and Commercial, in tastings of existing or potential products to assess their suitability.
• You will support the assurance of margins for mandatory categories and the correction of RRPs.
• You will assume and carry out the necessary missions of the area to guarantee correct functioning, as well as participate in training and improvement actions to professionalize your own task and that of the Group.
