What we're looking for
- Vocational training or a degree in Commerce, Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Previous experience in purchasing or supply, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Communicative level of Spanish; English is desirable.
The role
From Marlex we are collaborating with a food industry company in the search for a Purchasing Technician for their plant in Sant Pere de Vilamajor.
What you'll do
- Managing and processing orders for raw materials, products, and services required for production.
- Negotiating with suppliers on prices, delivery terms, and supply volumes.
- Evaluating and selecting suppliers, maintaining long-term relationships.
- Monitoring and updating records of orders, suppliers, and stock.
- Collaborating with the team in supply planning to ensure material availability.
- Analyzing supply issues and proposing solutions to minimize impacts on production.
- Participating in the implementation of internal procedures related to purchasing and supply.
- Supporting the management of contracts and administrative documentation for suppliers.
