Purchasing Technician

• Higher Degree in Administration and Finance, Commercial Management or similar will be positively valued.
• University degree related to Business, Economics, Logistics or Supply Chain is valued.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tactical purchasing, supply management or category management, preferably in food distribution, fast-moving consumer goods, HORECA, Retail or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in negotiating with suppliers, analyzing costs and margins, managing rates and planning and controlling stock.
• Experience working with a high volume of references.
• Experience in monitoring and resolving supply and supplier issues.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, with autonomy to work with large volumes of data and perform comparisons and analyses.
• Experience with ERP systems related to purchasing, supply, suppliers, rates, orders and stock.
• Experience with Odoo will be positively valued.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Business Intelligence tools is valued.
• Regular use of Outlook and Microsoft Office package.
• Organized, analytical, autonomous person with negotiation skills.
• Results-oriented, with focus on profitability and continuous improvement.
• Planning, anticipation and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with suppliers and different internal departments.
• Experience in food products, private label, packaging, wrapping or consumables for food service and Retail is valued.

• Approximate schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Salary according to experience and skills of the candidate.

• Management and monitoring of assigned categories and suppliers.
• Market research, search for new suppliers and analysis of supply alternatives.
• Request and analysis of quotes, budgets and supplier comparisons.
• Negotiation of prices, discounts, payment terms, delivery times and other commercial conditions.
• Monitoring of supplier performance and resolution of supply, quality and commercial condition issues.
• Analysis of purchasing costs, rates, margins and profitability by product and category.
• Planning and monitoring of stock, coverage, turnover, breakage and supply needs.
• Coordination of product additions, removals and changes, as well as supplier approval together with Quality.
• Preparation of reports and purchasing analyses to facilitate decision-making.
• Coordination with Logistics, Warehouse, Production, Sales, Marketing, Retail and Food Service.
• Functional coordination with the Purchasing Administrative Assistant for the correct execution of operations.
• Participation in the continuous improvement of processes, systems and reporting of the Purchasing department.
