The role

A Quality Control Manager is needed in Almendralejo to cover maternity leave (approximate duration of one year) with the possibility of staying in the department. As Quality Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring that all processes and products meet the highest standards of excellence.

A Degree in Food Industry Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology or similar is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in similar positions.

What you'll do

Among the main functions will be:

Managing and supervising the Quality System, reporting periodically to Management on its operation.

Controlling the quality of raw materials, auxiliary materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.

Supervising the processes of reception, storage, preservation, processing, and packaging of olives, guaranteeing their traceability.

Coordinating quality controls, sampling, and analysis of olives and fermenters.

Managing incidents, non-conforming products, customer complaints, and corrective and preventive actions.

Guaranteeing compliance with hygiene, cleaning, and food safety standards.

Coordinating subcontractors.

Supervising audits, documentation, training, and monitoring of suppliers and measurement and control equipment, as well as compliance with technical manufacturing specifications.

Coordinating the Quality Committee and acting as the company's representative for BRC and IFS certifications, as well as internal and customer audits.

Keeping applicable legislation up to date and ensuring its compliance.

Additional Information

One-year contract with the possibility of staying in the department.
