What we're looking for

Role Requirements:

Working knowledge of MATLAB and SQL Server
Demonstrablesource control experience ideally with both GIT and SVN
Good business acumen and sound finance knowledge
Excellent communication skills (English)

The role

What you'll do

Job responsibilities:

Key Development Initiatives
Annex IV and Form PF. Refactor and further develop existing code base and solutions tofacilitatebest in class stand-alone solutions
New report parts and analyses. Liaise with clients to understand requests and their feasibility
Product & Operations Liaison
Performanceanalysis reconciliation (Performance, Factsheet metrics, Contribution/Attribution, Exposures, etc.)
Work with colleagues from Apex Offices globally to ensure correct liaison and delivery including but not limited to BAU across restriction queries, report related queries, admin issues
Ensure thatmethodologyis well explained, presentRiskMonitor®new features to clients, andassistboth clients and colleagues from other Apex Offices during the onboarding phase
Coordination and liaison onVaR,performance,marketriskand liquidity risk metrics
Partner and clientliaison
Support general client and partner initiatives globally

ART is a fast-growingbusinessand we are looking for a Junior Quantitative Developer to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will liaise with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers and Investment Analysts to onboard their funds inRiskMonitor®, develop bespoke solutions and be involved in the daily maintenance of their accounts. In addition, you willclosely workwith the quantitative development team in Barcelona and Apex technology management colleagues globally to ensure the successful evolution of the ART business unit within Apex. Lastly, you will collaborate with business partners, technology vendors, client counterparties, and colleagues within the Apex Group. This role would suit someonewho'sseeking a career in finance and technology with a keen and demonstrable interest in quantitative finance.
