Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in die making, both in the construction as well as the adjustment, maintenance, and repair of cutting, deep drawing, and/or progressive dies.
Own vehicle.
Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar.

Nice to have

Valuable complementary training in mold and die design, blueprint reading, or CAD/CAM.

The role

At AREAJOB, we are looking for a Die Maker/Tooling Technician (M/F) for a company located in Loeches-Madrid.

What you'll do

Construction, adjustment, and assembly of dies and associated components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Preventive and corrective maintenance of molds, cutting dies, and dies used in extrusion and injection lines.
Diagnosis and correction of mechanical faults in tools, ensuring minimal interference in production processes.
Manual fine adjustment with precision files, as well as finishing and post-machining corrections.
Use of TIG or MIG welding for the recovery or modification of metal components.
Parameterization of extrusion lines and/or vertical injection presses for the validation of molds and dies.
Dimensional control and quality verification of parts obtained after adjustment or repair.
