Requirements
What we're looking for
- We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic that will actively support our Mechanical Engineering team in Arup in Spain. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology Engineering with a specialty in mechanics.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish skills.
- Interest in the field of mechanical installations and the technical field.
- Interest in teamwork.
Nice to have
- Enrolled in a Master's degree related to the field of mechanical installations and/or sustainability will be an advantage.
- Experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
The role
Design innovative and sustainable mechanical systems for iconic buildings
Our Building Services team in Madrid sits at the heart of Arup's commitment to sustainable development. We engineer innovative and energy-efficient solutions that minimize environmental impact while creating comfortable, healthy, and high-performing spaces.As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across Spain and potentially internationally, collaborating with experts from various disciplines.
This is your chance to participate in the design and delivery of cutting-edge mechanical systems for a variety of building projects. You will provide support in shaping sustainable built environments, collaborating with a talented team and working with prestigious clients.
What you'll do
- Support the team in the preparation of calculations, reports, plans and technical specifications for a variety of national and international projects.
- Have the possibility of joining a team of professionals who accumulate extensive experience in the field of mechanical installations.
- Participate in unique projects, as well as getting involved from the first moment in specific design tasks.
How you'll work
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
- Immediate incorporation
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
- Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
- Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
