What you'll do

You will join the Manufacturing Engineering team located in Las Matas, participating in the definition, implementation, and improvement of the production resources required for the manufacturing and assembly of our trains.

Your mission will be to design and develop the tooling, fixtures, and production resources that optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring the quality, safety, cost, and schedule standards established for each project.

To achieve this, you will carry out functions such as:

  • Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and production resources, defining the most suitable solutions for manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Analyze and optimize work methods, operational sequences, resources, and plant layouts, driving continuous improvement of production processes.
  • Participate in the definition, implementation, and validation of new manufacturing processes, collaborating with Product Engineering on the industrialization of new designs.
  • Prepare the technical documentation associated with processes and production resources, including work instructions, manufacturing drawings, and process records.
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams during the implementation of new tooling, fixtures, and industrial processes.

What we're looking for

  • Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Organization Engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design, specification, and development of tooling or production resources in industrial environments.
  • English level B2 or higher.
  • Availability for occasional international travel.
  • Knowledge of tools such as NX, Teamcenter, and SAP, as well as experience in continuous improvement methodologies and Poka-Yoke systems.
