ICU Nursing Assistant

We are looking for a professional with a Nursing Assistant (TCAE) profile to join our care team.
Care support duties will be carried out in the hospital ICU, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Previous experience in the ICU area will be especially valued. We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful person with experience in the hospital environment, particularly in the surgical area, capable of adding value in care support roles as a TCAE.

Responsibilities:
• Provide personal hygiene care, comfort, and well-being to patients, as well as perform positioning changes and assist with mobilization and transfers.
• Collaborate with the nursing team in wound care, catheterization, placement of non-invasive devices, and other care procedures.
• Prepare and organize the necessary materials for techniques, diagnostic tests, and medical procedures.
• Keep the patient unit clean, orderly, and equipped, checking and restocking supplies and verifying assigned equipment.
• Collect, identify, and transport biological samples, and assist with the recording and custody of clinical documentation.
• Apply infection prevention and control measures, including hand hygiene, proper use of PPE, and management of healthcare waste.
• Assist in the administration of enteral diets and in monitoring urinary and bowel elimination, reporting any incidents.
• Participate in patient admission, reception, and transfer, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Attend to family members by providing information and fostering an environment of respect and confidentiality.
• Apply patient safety measures, including fall prevention, correct identification, and compliance with clinical protocols.
• Work as part of a team with nurses, doctors, and other ICU professionals, participating in ongoing training.
• Maintain a professional, ethical, and confidential attitude at all times.
