Naval ILS Engineer (Configuration Control)

• Engineering Degree, preferably Naval or Maritime.
• >3 years in logistical configuration management in naval defense programs (e.g., frigates, submarines, warships).
• Specific experience in:
  • Development and maintenance of the Configuration Item (CI) Tree.
  • Change and modification control in naval systems (e.g., according to the AJAL Permanent Maintenance Instruction or NATO equivalents).
  • Configuration validation and audits in regulated environments (e.g., STANAG 4177, STANAG 4438).
  • Integration with logistical information systems (e.g., EOLO-IACV, Windchill, CONFI, PDCO).
  • NATO Cataloging (NOC/NSN) and management of logistical databases (e.g., NMRCL, SICAD).
• Experience with the following tools: EOLO IACV, Windchill, SICAD, Enterprise Architect or Bizagi.
• English B2 or higher

We are currently looking for a configuration control specialist for naval defense programs, to join the team as an ILS Engineer, ideally in Cádiz (open to other locations).

Guarantee the integrity and traceability of the logistical configuration of military vessels throughout their entire life cycle, from the design phase to operational sustainment.

1. Configuration Item (CI) Tree Management:
   • Maintain and update the hierarchical structure of the vessel's systems/equipment.
   • Ensure alignment with the Material Nomenclature and technical documentation (e.g., drawings, manuals).
2. Change and modification control:
   • Evaluate the logistical impacts of Official Change Proposals (OCP).
   • Manage the traceability of modifications in critical systems (e.g., propulsion, combat, communications) and coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to implement changes without affecting operability.
3. Validation and audits:
   • Perform internal configuration audits and prepare documentation for external audits.
4. Integration with information systems:
   • Upload and validate data in Windchill and EOLO-IACV and ensure interoperability between systems (e.g., PDCO, CONFI, GLPI).
5. Documentation and reporting:
   • Prepare configuration deviation reports, generate configuration control minutes and keep logistical configuration documentation up to date.
