Naval ILS Engineer (Maintenance)

• Engineering Degree, preferably Naval or Maritime.
• >5+  years in maintenance analysis and planning in naval defense programs (e.g., frigates, submarines).
• Specific experience in:
  • Preparation of Technical Maintenance Analyses (ATM) using the RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) methodology
  • Development of maintenance documentation:
    • PMS (Planned Maintenance System): MIPs and MRCs.
    • IMS/TRS (Intermediate Maintenance Standards/Technical Repair Standards).
    • ICMP (Integrated Class Maintenance Plan).
  • Planning of scheduled maintenance availabilities (e.g. PIP, PIV, PIM per REM F-110)
  • Repairable pools management and maintenance-by-replacement strategies.
  • Reliability and maintainability analysis (ARM) using simulation tools.
• Experience with the following tools: EOLO-IACV, Windchill, RMA simulation software, SAFRAN Project / Oracle Primavera, AutoCAD / Microstation.
• English B2 or higher

We are currently looking for a specialist in maintenance strategies for naval defense programs, to join the team as an ILS Engineer, ideally in Cádiz (open to other locations).

Design, plan, and optimize the maintenance strategies of military vessels (e.g., F-110, S-80) during their life cycle, ensuring operational availability (>90%) and minimizing sustainment costs.

1. Preparation of FMECA & Technical Maintenance Analysis (TMA):
   • Perform TMA with RCM methodology for critical systems (e.g., propulsion, power generation, combat).
   • Define maintenance strategies (corrective, preventive, predictive) according to MIL-STD-3034A.
   • Identify failure modes, effects, and mitigation tasks (FMECA).
2. Maintenance documentation development:
   • PMS: Create Maintenance Index Pages (MIP) and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC) in SGML format.
   • IMS/TRS: Draft intermediate maintenance and repair standards for second/third echelon.
   • ICMP: Integrate maintenance tasks into the Integrated Class Maintenance Plan.
   • TML (Task Material List): List materials and consumables for maintenance availabilities.
3. Maintenance availability planning:
   • Sequence tasks for PIP, PIV, and PIM.
   • Analyze workloads by center (e.g. workshops, ships).
   • Prepare class support plans (PAC) in accordance with AJAL Instruction.
4. Repairable pools management:
   • Define equipment for maintenance by replacement (e.g. engines, valves).
   • Coordinate with Supply to ensure spare parts availability.
5. Reliability and maintainability analysis (ARM):
   • Use simulation tools to validate availability objectives (Ai > 90%) and update reliability/maintainability allocations in systems.
6. Monitoring and reporting:
   • Generate reports on maintenance progress, record data in EOLO-IACV and Windchill and  participate in logistics coordination meetings with the client.
