Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree or accreditation in Socio-Sanitary Care or equivalent.
Driving license.
Having completed the initial online training offered by Autismo Burgos.

Nice to have

Specific knowledge and training in autism.
Practical experience working with people with ASD.
Experience in the implementation of intervention programs.
Experience in the preparation of support material for intervention.
Personal skills: empathy, problem-solving ability, creativity, flexibility, positive and stimulating interaction with people with ASD, teamwork, good time management, punctuality, compliance with rules, and an attitude of continuous improvement.

The role

What you'll do

• Knowledge and training in autism.

• Practical experience working with people with ASD.

• Experience in the implementation of intervention programs.

• Experience in the creation of intervention support material.

• Personal skills: empathy, problem-solving ability, creativity, flexibility, positive and stimulating interaction with people with ASD, teamwork, time management, punctuality and compliance with regulations, spirit of continuous improvement.

• Support in housing-specific activities.

• Support for workshops/activities/dining room in the day center.

• These functions, as well as the services in which the work is carried out, may vary according to the needs of the entity.

- WEDNESDAY: 16:45-22:00 (El Cerezo Housing)
- THURSDAY: 13:00-14:00 (Team meeting) 16:45-22:00 (El Cerezo Housing)
- Alternate FRIDAYS: 15:00-17:00 (Day Center) 17:00-22:00 (El Cerezo Housing)
- Alternate SATURDAYS: 22:00-8:00.
- Holiday and vacation program.

About Autismo Burgos

Autismo Burgos is a Spanish association specialised in supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA) and their families. It provides specialised care, educational and social inclusion, training, advice and personalised programmes, and currently accompanies more than 500 people with specialised supports.

Its services span the whole life course and include diagnostic assessment and orientation, early attention and stimulation, psychosocial support (APITEA), the El Alba special education school, a day centre and residential homes. The association also promotes national and international projects on inclusion, research and social awareness of autism.
