About the role

At Avanza, a leading passenger transport company, we need to hire a Workshop Team Manager to ensure the coordination of the daily activities of the workshop team under their charge, distributing tasks and supervising the application of the procedures and policies established by the Group, for our workplace located in Elche (Alicante).

What you'll do

What will your job involve?

Carry out and coordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance work on vehicles.

Manage the breakdown reports of vehicles arriving at the depot and prioritize repair decisions.

Supervise the repairs carried out by the mechanics.

Manage and check materials upon arrival.

Coordinate with the Operations Inspectors to ensure the proper provision of the service.

Manage the team of mechanics under their charge, providing training, motivation, and communication.

Be responsible for compliance with procedures regarding occupational risk prevention and environmental impact.

Work closely with the Maintenance Manager in analyzing and implementing actions for efficient improvement.

Lead the assigned team, identifying their characteristics, concerns, and expectations to foster their professional development.

Advanced Vocational Training in Automotive/Electromechanics.

Specific training in warehousing and stock management and Quality.
