The role

An important company in the industrial sector is looking to hire a Heavy Machinery Workshop Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations for heavy machinery at its facilities in Huelva.

What you'll do

The selected person will be responsible for coordinating the technical team, ensuring workshop operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Main duties

Supervise and coordinate the team of mechanics and technicians in the workshop.
Plan and organize preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Diagnose complex breakdowns in heavy machinery.
Control execution times and quality of completed work.
Manage spare parts orders and supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety and occupational risk prevention (ORP) regulations.
Prepare technical reports and activity reports.

Requirements

Technical training in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance.
Previous experience in team management (valued).
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in industrial environments, mining, public works, or logistics is valued.
