Process Engineer (Biotechnology, Food Industry)

Location [Barcelona and/or Madrid] - Modality [Hybrid] - Contract [Permanent] - Section [Processes]

Definition of the project design basis, preparation of process diagrams (PFDs and P&IDs)

Material and energy balances, utility consumption.

Process description, simulations and equipment list, lines, manual valves and accessories.

Equipment calculation and specifications (static, rotating, heat exchange)

DPI (instrument process data) including elements requiring calculation (control valves, safety valves, orifice plates, rupture discs, etc.).

Transfer and request of necessary information to other disciplines.

We are looking to bring on board a Chemical Engineer to join our PROCESS team, taking part in projects of national and international scope with high technical demands.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to developing solutions that respond to real challenges on a global scale, working alongside specialized teams.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in basic and detailed process engineering, developing projects in the biotechnology and/or food sectors (live cell processes).

Chemical Engineering

Advanced English level.

Proficiency in MS Office package. Advanced MS Excel level.

Process simulation (ASPEN HYSYS, ASPEN PLUS), valued

Proficiency in thermal design of heat exchangers (EDR, HTRI), valued
