About the role

We are looking to hire a Head of ACO Unit for Railway Safety Installations to join our railway team, taking part in projects of national and international scope with high technical demands.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to developing solutions that respond to real challenges on a global scale, working alongside specialized teams.

What you'll do

Lead and coordinate the ACO team, including supervising the site surveillance personnel under their responsibility.

Carry out the technical monitoring of the contract and of the activities related to railway safety installations.

Supervise work related to signals, interlockings and railway protection systems.

Take part in supervising the commissioning of railway interlockings and associated software modifications.

Perform qualitative and quantitative control of the works under supervision.

Prepare the deliverables, technical reports and necessary documentation during the development of the contract.

Maintain ongoing communication and coordination with the client and the Works Management.

Ensure proper technical monitoring of the work and compliance with the requirements established for the project.

REQUIREMENTS

University degree at MECES level 3 (Master's degree or higher engineering qualification).

Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree.

Experience in railway safety installations (IISS), both in works and projects.

Knowledge and experience related to signals, interlockings and railway protection systems.

Experience or knowledge in commissioning railway interlockings and associated software modifications.

Availability to travel to the site in Alcover (Tarragona) when necessary. A site vehicle will be provided for such travel.

Residence in Alcover or nearby towns will be especially valued.

Ability to coordinate teams, carry out technical site monitoring and maintain communication with the client and the Works Management.
