Master of Access to the Legal Profession | September 2027

To participate in the selection process, it will be necessary to have a solid academic record, an excellent command of English (both written and oral), and a proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and to collaborate with our lawyers in providing legal advice to top-tier companies.

• Be currently enrolled in the Master of Access to the Legal Profession, with the curriculum internship period scheduled to begin in September 2027.
• Spanish Law Degree (or equivalent foreign degree)
• Very good academic record.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Advanced level of English
• No previous experience required

• Any international experience will be a plus
• Having completed a Double Degree will be highly valued

During the first year, you will attend a training program designed specifically for you that will allow you to:

• Induction: you will attend an introductory training course during the first few days to help you start working.
• Legal technical training: each of our practice groups conducts internal training sessions covering the legal technical topics relevant to that team. We also organize specific seminars for trainees covering the fundamental topics that arise in each of our practice areas, so that you obtain a deep legal foundation.
• Professional skills development: to be a successful lawyer, it is not only necessary to know the law. Therefore, we will help you maximize your potential and develop your skills, for example, by providing training in effective presentation, writing, and client and matter management.

Your training will not end here. The training plan will accompany you throughout your entire professional career.

The program is intended for students of the Master of Access to the Legal Profession who wish to start their professional career at Baker McKenzie.

Through this program, we want you to see, alongside great professionals, what life is like as a lawyer at Baker McKenzie.

From the beginning, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the department for which you have been selected, working in close collaboration with our lawyers and our Spanish and international clients, performing research tasks and other daily activities within the department. You will also have the opportunity to participate in pro-bono activities.

At the start, a Senior Associate will be assigned to you as a tutor, and you will also have the additional support of a Jr. Associate "Buddy" to resolve any simple questions.

The program has a duration of 10 months: from September 2027 to January 2028, corresponding to the Master's curriculum internships and, from February 2028 to June 2028, as a Trainee.

Once these 10 months are completed and following the firm's corresponding review process, the candidate will transition to becoming a Jr. Associate with an effective date of July 1, 2028.
