Food and Beverage Manager - Barcelo Portinatx Hotel 4*

• Support the control of the units that provide food and/or beverage services (restaurant, bars, cafeteria and room service, nightclub, party rooms, banquets, storeroom, wine cellar and kitchen).
• Support the coordination of the work of department heads based on occupancy forecasts.
• Manage menus and wine lists with department heads.
• Support the execution of competitive studies.
• Analyze dishes, recipes, meat or fish analyses, etc.
• Manage the quality of the service offered, as well as that of dishes and beverages.
• Plan and coordinate the training programs to be developed.
• Manage the quantity and quality of the food served to staff.
• Supervise the execution and proper compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Attend meetings with department heads.
• Implement staff sanctions and promotions.
• Manage the work shifts established by department heads.
• Apply appropriate measures for proper internal communication flow.
• Control the purchases to be made.
• Account for food and beverage costs and production.

• Education: Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training Cycle in Hospitality, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management or similar.
• Experience: minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
• Languages: advanced English required, a second language (French) desirable.
• Knowledge in hospitality, accounting and marketing will be valued.
• Ability to manage teams (leadership).
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Energy and initiative.

Permanent Intermittent (Fixed Term)

• Apoyar en el control de las unidades que prestan servicios de comidas y/o bebidas (restaurantes, bares, cafetería y room-service, discoteca, salas de fiestas, banquetes, economato, bodega y cocina).
• Apoyar en la coordinación del trabajo de los jefes de departamento ante las previsiones de ocupación.
• Gestionar menús y cartas con los jefes de departamento.
• Apoyar en la realización de estudios de la competencia.
• Analizar los platos, recetas, análisis de carnes o pescados, etc.
• Gestionar la calidad del servicio que se ofrece, así como de los platos y bebidas.
• Planificar y coordinar los programas de formación a desarrollar.
• Gestionar la cantidad y calidad de la comida que se sirve al personal.
• Supervisar la ejecución y correcto cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad e higiene.
• Asistir a las reuniones con los jefes de departamento.
• Implementar sanciones y promociones del personal.
• Gestionar los turnos de trabajo establecidos por los jefes de departamento.
• Aplicar medidas adecuadas para una correcta fluidez de la comunicación interna.
• Controlar las compras a realizar.

• Formación: Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio o Superior en Hostelería, Grado ADE o similar.
• Experiencia: mínima de 1 año en puesto similar.
• Idiomas: imprescindible inglés alto, deseable segundo idioma (francés).
• Se valorarán conocimientos en: hostelería, contabilidad y marketing.
• Capacidad para gestionar equipos (liderazgo).
