Digital & Business Transformation Specialist

• University degree in Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields. Additional training in Project Management, Digital Transformation, or Artificial Intelligence will be valued.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, leading projects in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, IT, and other stakeholder groups, ensuring tangible transformations and business value generation.
• Strong business, strategic, and analytical vision, with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into concrete and actionable initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of artificial intelligence, data analysis, and the development of dashboards or similar solutions (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) from commercial tools, along with curiosity to identify relevant use cases, continuous learning, and the ability to take on responsibilities in a constantly evolving environment.
• Experience driving business transformation initiatives, change management, or digital adoption.
• Fluency in Spanish and strong communication skills in English (B2-C1 level).

The Commercial & Digital Excellence department plays a key role in driving business efficiency and supporting the evolution of the commercial organization within BASF Agricultural Solutions Spain. As a Digital & Business Transformation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and prioritizing AI use cases with a measurable business impact.
• Driving change management and leading the implementation of AI solutions in areas such as workflow automation, knowledge management, reporting, decision support, customer experience, and productivity improvement.
• Empowering commercial teams to integrate AI effectively and responsibly into their daily work.
• Developing practical AI-based workflows and automation concepts together with the relevant experts.
• Transforming business data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Developing analytics, dashboards, and reporting concepts that support business decision-making.
• Improving data availability, quality, and usability.
• Leading strategic projects in the commercial area, from problem definition to implementation (such as defining commercial policies, designing loyalty or sell-out programs, among others).
• Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams from Sales, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, and other relevant functions.
• Acting as a driver of digital innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and increase organizational efficiency through technology-supported transformation initiatives.
