We are currently looking for a Chemical Operator profile.

What you'll do

The Chemical Operator is responsible for carrying out the procedures and techniques required to manufacture a solid-state battery on our first prototype line, following the guidelines of our Process Engineering and Production team.

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineer, they will be responsible for:

  • Assisting process engineering with the FAT and SAT of our manufacturing machinery.
  • Working in a dry room environment, manufacturing A, B, and C sample cells to a high-quality level.
  • Assisting in DOE activities and cell disassembly, collaborating with engineering and the R&D team to collect data for life cycles and test approval.
  • Preventive maintenance, recovery, and improvement of our R&D production facilities.
  • Supporting the logistical control of incoming parts and outgoing product with FIFO priority.
  • Supporting the team in the daily achievement of set production goals and objectives, focusing on meeting the sample schedule as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Helping in the creation of standard operations and check sheets during specific sampling phases.
  • Supporting all documentation creation requests during specific sample phases.
  • Helping to establish a robust APQP system for future customer collaboration.
  • Championing safety initiatives and supporting management in maintaining and improving our safe working environment.

The candidate must have a high degree of initiative and is expected to collaborate as a key team member within the manufacturing department.

The Chemical Operator must have experience in chemical manufacturing and standard operations, within the environment of a high-tech industrial facility.

Nice to have:

  • 2 years of experience in production lines working for automotive OEMs or other sectors.
  • Experience in battery manufacturing processes: Electrode, Cell Assembly, Formation, Module, Pack.
  • Experience in dry rooms or clean rooms, ideally ISO7 class 10,000.
  • Previous experience in fault finding and investigation techniques.
  • Previous experience in stacking facilities will be valued.
  • Intermediate level of English.
