Risk Internal Control (CIR) is the control unit for Global Risk Management (GRM) activities. The core of the CIR function is to verify the correct development and execution of GRM processes, both at the corporate and local levels, for which the collaboration of local CIR units is fundamental.

- Continuously review documentation directly linked to the function (internal regulations, external regulations, Internal Audit reports) and understand the impact on the process in question. Monitor compliance with the actions raised by those units/institutions.
- Accompany the second line of defense (GRM Holding) in improving its Wholesale credit risk control and management processes, contributing proactively to loss prevention.
- Participate in Wholesale credit risk forums and committees as an independent guest / analyze presentations submitted to these forums, formulating objective observations and constructive recommendations.
- Prepare executive and regulatory reports with an analytical, clear, and decision-oriented approach.
- Collaborate permanently with other units
- Internal - Technical Secretariat, local Risk Internal Control units, GRM Holding, Non Financial Risk, Internal Audit.
- External - External Audit, Regulators and Supervisors.
