GCS Field Service Engineer - Leon

• Intermediate or advanced vocational training in electronics, electromechanics or similar, OR equivalent professional experience.
• Driving licence.

• Engineering training in electrical or electronic fields, or a Higher Technician qualification in electronics or electricity, is valued.
• Demonstrable experience working in a technical service sector within a hospital and/or biomedical engineering environment is valued.
• Strong IT skills and experience, including Windows operating systems, networking technologies, troubleshooting, and configuration. (CompTIA Network+ certification is desirable).
• Customer focus and a proven track record of delivering high-quality service and repair in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills, with the ability to communicate, promote, and sell service-related products and value propositions.

Salary range for the position: EUR 45,000 - 55,000

€32,700.00 - €52,350.00 EUR Annual

Job Description

BD Medication Management Solutions is looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer with strong technical skills to join our Global Customer Services team. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality on-site technical support as well as assistance to end users or biomedical engineering teams in healthcare facilities.

• Provide technical support and training on-site or remotely, including installation, corrective and preventive maintenance, in compliance with the service level agreements established with the customer.
• Build effective relationships with customers, both end users and contacts in other technical areas (IT, biomedical engineering, department management, etc.).
• Provide exemplary customer service, escalate technical and satisfaction concerns as needed, and maintain responsibility until resolution.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers that support and foster commercial growth and operational efficiencies, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records in our customer service management systems, complying with KPIs and medical device regulations.
• Manage short- and long-term planning efficiently across the assigned region, ensuring proper use of time and that all tools are calibrated.
• Build and maintain an efficient inventory of stock in the vehicle.
• Provide support in investigating customer complaints and any other issues that may arise.
• Work with the GCS team leader during the evaluation process, setting objectives and goals to ensure effective professional development.
• Support revenue growth, cost savings, and operational efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement in service delivery, maintaining focus on complaints.
