The role

What you'll do

Design of power and control electrical schematics using EPLAN P8.
Development and updating of electrical schematics for new projects and modifications.
Design of electrical cabinets and associated technical documentation.
Sizing and selection of electrical protection devices.
Definition of wiring, terminal blocks, signals, and bill of materials.
Selection and integration of automation components (PLCs, power supplies, variable frequency drives, servos, and control equipment).
Collaboration with programmers, mechanical engineers, and production during project development.
Support during assembly and resolution of technical issues when necessary.
Participation in projects under European regulations and, depending on the project, American regulations (UL / NFPA).

We are looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer to join a technical office specialized in automated machinery, working directly with one of the international leaders in the design and manufacture of solutions for the aeronautical sector.

You will work in a highly collaborative technical environment, combining on-site work with clients, technical office work, and remote work, with a continuous morning shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and flexible working hours.

We are not just looking for someone who draws electrical schematics. We are looking for someone who wants to take part in the development of special machinery, understand how it works, and collaborate with mechanics, automation engineers, and assembly teams to find the best technical solution.

Requirements

Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Electronics, or similar.
At least 2 years of experience designing industrial machinery with EPLAN P8.
Experience in the electrical design of special machinery or automated lines.
Knowledge of automation components: PLCs, variable frequency drives, servomotors, Motion Control, and industrial sensors.
Experience selecting protection devices, wiring, and electrical components.
Ability to interpret the machine as a whole and collaborate with different technical disciplines.

We will especially value (although it is not essential):

Experience in commissioning or assembly support.
Knowledge of SEE Electrical.
Experience with Siemens (TIA Portal, PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives, or Motion).
Design under EN 60204, UL 508A, or NFPA 79.
Experience working in a technical office or special machinery engineering.
