We are looking to hire a Hardware Team Leader to lead the development of electronic projects within the automotive sector (Tier 1). The selected person will be responsible for the technical coordination of the Hardware team, guaranteeing quality, compliance with customer requirements, and the correct integration of electronic designs throughout the entire development cycle.

What you'll do

  • Lead and coordinate the development of electronic hardware projects.
  • Manage resources, planning, quality, and costs within the Hardware area.
  • Technically coordinate the electronic design team.
  • Supervise schematic design and PCB Layout development.
  • Guarantee the correct integration of electronic components and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  • Perform technical design reviews and ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.
  • Coordinate electronic validation activities and the monitoring of test plans.
  • Participate in the analysis and resolution of technical incidents during the various phases of the project.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (Software, Systems, Quality, and Validation).
  • Ensure the application of quality methodologies such as DFMEA, FMEDA, and functional safety analyses.
  • Manage technical risks and propose preventive and corrective actions.
  • Act as the Hardware technical reference for customers and internal teams.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • More than 5 years of experience in electronic hardware development, preferably in automotive.
  • Experience leading hardware projects or technical teams.
  • Experience in electronic design, schematics, and PCB Layout.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers and communication buses (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, or others).
  • Experience in electronic validation and the definition of test plans.
  • Knowledge of EMC and electronic integration processes.
  • Experience in quality methodologies such as DFMEA, FMEDA, and functional analysis.
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical activities.
  • Minimum B2 level English.

Nice to have

  • French.
  • Experience in power electronics projects or electronics for automotive.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and Functional Safety.
  • Experience in electronic design tools such as Altium Designer or Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
