Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields. Training in Purchasing and Supply Chain is valued.
Minimum 3 years of experience in direct purchasing, supplier management and negotiation.
Advanced level of English.
Strong communication and influencing skills to interact with different areas of the organization.
Analytical profile, results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Excel. Experience with SAP or other ERPs is valued.

Nice to have

Experience in purchasing packaging materials (cardboard, tubes, bottles or conditioning materials).
Knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes.
Experience in the Healthcare, Pharma, Cosmetics, Food or Industrial sectors.
Experience managing external manufacturers (CMOs).
Knowledge of analysis and reporting tools (Power BI or similar).

We are looking for a Purchasing Technician to expand one of our teams in Cerdanyola del Vallès. You will have the opportunity to manage strategic purchasing categories, negotiate with national and international suppliers, and participate in improvement and optimization projects with a direct impact on the business.

What you'll do

Manage the purchasing process for assigned categories, ensuring cost, quality and service levels.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and generate value for the business.
Identify, evaluate and negotiate with national and international suppliers.
Conduct market and spend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency and savings.
Participate in and lead strategic projects within the Purchasing area.
Collaborate with different company departments to meet their needs and act as an internal partner.
Analyze data and indicators to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Assess risks in the supply chain and propose contingency plans.
Prepare reports and present results to different levels of the organization.
