What you'll do

As a Planning Engineer, you will be a key piece in the success of our projects, assuming the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the integral project planning, developing and maintaining the EPCM master schedule from engineering to commissioning.
  • Consolidate information received from the site and analyze deviations in schedule, productivity, and critical milestones.
  • Identify planning risks, analyze critical paths, and propose recovery plans when necessary.
  • Coordinate planning between Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Construction, and Commissioning to ensure the alignment of all activities.
  • Prepare executive progress reports for Project Management and the Client.
  • Manage "what-if" scenarios and impact analyses derived from scope changes, supply delays, or construction incidents.
  • Methodologically supervise the work of the Site Planner, guaranteeing the quality and consistency of the reported information.
  • Participate in periodic meetings with the client, Project Director, and Construction Manager for strategic decision-making.
  • Perform occasional site visits to validate real progress, contrast reported information, and participate in relevant project milestones.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of at least 10 years in Project Planning roles, preferably in the industrial sector (Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Engineering).
