We are expanding our team and are looking for a Technical Product Owner specialized in API products with extensive experience in discovery and ensuring the continuous delivery of business-value software, for a stable and permanent project. The selected candidate will collaborate on a major technological project under an agile methodology, with collaborative and non-hierarchical teams, requiring a high degree of proactivity and responsibility. You will be the voice and strategist for this product, focusing on the definition and evolution of its capabilities:

1. Product vision and strategy

• You will create and maintain a long-term vision, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and the UPO/CPO. You will design the product roadmap, a strategic and visual summary of the execution plan for stakeholder review.

• You will be ultimately responsible for the product backlog. You will apply prioritization techniques (such as RICE, KANO, MOSCOW, etc.), ensuring that the development team focuses on delivering maximum value.

• You will lead the definition and evolution of APIs (API First), ensuring the best possible design. You will define and maintain the ubiquitous language and domain entities (DDD) of the product to guarantee clarity and consistency across the platform.

• You will need in-depth product knowledge to anticipate problems or needs and seek solutions. With this deep knowledge and context, you will implement new ideas and plan releases.

2. Stakeholder management and negotiation

• You will be the primary communicator and the link between stakeholders and the development team. You will establish clear communication channels and keep stakeholders informed about decisions and product progress.

• You will work closely with the unit's UPO or the CPO to manage and negotiate the roadmap, balancing product initiatives with the demands of integrating clients and internal stakeholders.

• You will detect, profile, and understand the users/consumers of your APIs (other product teams). You will constantly validate that the APIs are easy to use and understand, gathering, processing, and incorporating their feedback.

3. Execution and measurement

• You will provide detailed descriptions of functionalities (user stories with clear acceptance criteria) so that the development team understands them thoroughly, working closely with the team to resolve doubts and functional blockers.

• You will define, visualize, and monitor the functional KPIs that determine the product's business success, establishing alerts for early problem detection. You will foster a data-driven decision-making culture to support your hypotheses and decisions.

• You will manage the complete API lifecycle, including clear roll-out and deprecation strategies, ensuring no consumer is left behind.

Drive the product as far as possible, ensuring that its core capabilities maximize the value delivered to the business and enable the scaling of delivery experiences for customers.

You will work closely with the UPO/CPO and a dedicated development team (comprised of a TL, an EM, and developers), while also interacting with stakeholders from the various areas that consume your product.

• Experience as a product manager or product owner.

• Experience managing API products (API-First), understanding the definition of an API as a product with its own lifecycle.

• Mastery of the agile / scrum work environment (writing user stories, backlog management, ceremonies).

• Experience in data-driven decision-making and defining product metrics.

• Strong experience in negotiation and expectation management with stakeholders and internal consumers.

• Goal and results orientation.

• Experience in e-commerce contexts.

• Knowledge of domain driven design (DDD).

• Experience in API design (versioning, documentation, standards, etc.).
