The role

What you'll do

  • Procurement of materials and control of material availability for the manufacture of ultrasonic/airbag sensors.
  • Monitoring and control of material requirements planning and delivery dates using SAP/R3 and Excel.
  • External and internal tracking of material flow along the supply chain until the manufacturing process is completed.
  • Coordination of material distribution in critical shortage situations through weekly telephone conferences and assignment files on the BOSCH Intranet.
  • Close cooperation with suppliers in case of material shortages through priorities and instructions in supplier production planning.
  • Coordination of material assistance to other BOSCH plants.
  • Communication with suppliers, carriers, and international departments within the BOSCH group (English, German, and Spanish).
  • Ordering and tracking of special transports.
