The role
As Data Analyst in our Barcelona hub, you will turn the business questions of the domains and markets served from Barcelona into trusted answers in Omni - and help those teams answer more of their own questions through governed self-service.
What you'll do
Build and maintain certified Omni dashboards for the hub domains (Operations, Finance, Product, General Management) on certified dbt marts, from spec to release.
Keep field descriptions and documentation current for everything you ship.
Deliver analyses for recurring questions in workstreams such as Lighthouse & Operational Metrics, Gravity and Product analytics.
Triage incoming requests by domain and tier: handle analyst-tier work, send self-service questions back with guidance, and hand engineering work to Data Engineering with a clear spec.
Answer Omni questions from hub users and help Data Champions build their own views.
Co-run training sessions and office hours with the Data Champion network.
Check every dashboard against certified metrics and KPI glossary definitions before release.
Validate metrics before certification: check definitions against the glossary, reconcile figures with source systems and business owners, and document the result.
Raise metric issues to the weekly Governance Review and report data quality issues to Data Engineering.
Follow a structured learning plan on SQL, dbt, Omni and BUSUP's business domains.
Have your work reviewed by the Lead Data Analyst and adopt the shared BI standards.
