Testing and Commissioning Engineers

What will you do in your day-to-day work?

Some of your main missions, after an initial period of adaptation and training, will be:

• Supervise and coordinate the vehicle testing protocols for the assigned railway projects, with the mission of minimizing incidents and claims from the Client.
• Resolve functional incidents that may arise in some of our equipment and systems. Many times, to get to the root cause of the incident, you will need to interact with other departments, suppliers, and experts from around the world.
• Organize the teams of Technicians under your responsibility.
• Plan daily operations according to the established objectives for deadlines, safety, and quality of service to the Client.

What will make you succeed in this position?

• Hold an engineering degree. This is essential due to the high technical complexity of the role and the product. We will value it if you have specialized in a branch related to electricity, electronics, mechatronics, etc., since these types of systems and equipment are a fundamental part of our vehicles.
• Speaking other languages (English, French, German) is necessary in this position, as you will have contact with colleagues, clients, and suppliers from around the world, and you will need to use them regularly, both in writing and by phone.
• A key part of this position is commissioning the railway vehicles we have manufactured, so, since you will work on projects around the world, you must have full availability to travel and even reside abroad, as some of our projects last several years.

• Previous experience in positions related to testing management, deliveries, maintenance, and commissioning of complex equipment is valued, but it is not essential. ¿Cuál harás en tú día a día?

Algunas de tus misiones principales, tras un periodo inicial de adaptación y formación, serán:

• Supervisar y coordinar los protocolos de pruebas de vehículos de los proyectos ferroviarios asignados, con la misión de minimizar las incidencias y reclamaciones por parte del Cliente.
• Resolver incidencias funcionales que puedan aparecer en algunos de nuestros equipos y sistemas. Muchas veces para llegar a la causa-raíz de la incidencia, tendrás que interaccionar con otros departamentos, con proveedores y con expertos de todo el mundo.
• Organizar los equipos de Técnicos a su cargo.
• Planificar las operaciones diarias atendiendo a los objetivos de plazos, seguridad y calidad de servicio al Cliente establecidos.

¿Qué te hará triunfar en esta posición?

• Disponer de titulación en ingeniería. Esto es esencial debido a la alta complejidad técnica del rol y el producto. Valoraremos el que tengas especialización en alguna rama relacionada con la electricidad, electrónica, mecatrónica..., ya que este tipo de sistemas y equipos son parte fundamental de nuestros vehículos.
• Hablar otros idiomas (inglés, francés, alemán) es algo necesario en este puesto, ya que tendrás contacto con compañeros/as, clientes y proveedores de todo el mundo y los tendrás que utilizar habitualmente, tanto por escrito como por teléfono.
• Una parte clave de este puesto es poner en marcha los vehículos ferroviarios que hemos fabricado, por lo que, al trabajar en proyectos por todo el mundo, tienes que tener disponibilidad total para viajar e incluso residir en el extranjero, ya que algunos de nuestros proyectos duran varios años.

• La experiencia previa en puestos relacionados con la gestión de pruebas, entregas, mantenimiento y puesta en marcha de equipos complejos es algo que se valora, pero no es imprescindible.
