The role

Are you interested in growing as a professional, actively participating in project decisions, and doing so alongside an experienced team in a close-knit, collaborative work environment? This is your opportunity!

If you want to work toward a more sustainable world that is responsible with its environment, at CAF Digital Services we believe in and work on sustainable mobility, one of the main challenges facing society today. At CAF Digital Services, we improve train availability and passenger well-being through data analytics and digitalization. We work with the most innovative maintenance and operations technologies to maximize the quality of train service.

What you'll do

Your mission will consist of defining and developing scalable and replicable digital products among different clients, maximizing business value and favoring reuse over custom developments.

You will act as the link between clients, the development team, and the commercial area, prioritizing what is built and in what order, with a medium/long-term product vision, and ensuring that each version provides visible value from the early stages and is measurable through the client's business indicators.

  • Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap through incremental versions, ensuring that each phase is useful in itself.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog by value flow, not by role or by system, differentiating the common core of the platform from the specific configurations of each operator.
  • Translate the service contract and the operating model of each operator into user stories, business rules, and KPI definitions validated with the client.
  • Define the acceptance criteria for each user story with command and maintenance position users and validate the product in short cycles.
  • Coordinate with the Product Design team the prototyping of solutions and their validation with the client before developing, so that only functionalities verified with users proceed to construction.
  • Ensure the delivery of visible value from the first weeks of each deployment, with measurable milestones based on the operator's real data.
  • Measure the use and impact of the platform on the operator's KPIs and propose evolutions based on data.
  • Perform pre-sales commercial actions: discovery workshops, scope proposals, demos, and business cases in contractual terms for new operators, in coordination with the commercial area.
  • Capitalize each deployment as a reference and standardize the implementation model to reduce the cost and timeframe of bringing the platform to a new operator.
