LNG Plant Quality Technician

• Technical training in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Higher Level Vocational Training in the industrial branch, or similar
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Quality Technician in piping and industrial pipe assembly projects
• Demonstrable experience in LNG plants, petrochemical plants, refineries, or oil & gas facilities (essential)
• Knowledge and handling of international welding regulations
• Experience in managing Welding Books, WPS, WPQ, and NDT monitoring
• Handling of quality documentation: NCR, PCI/ITP, final dossiers, and Red Lines

• Specific experience in field quality in LNG plants or cryogenic facilities
• Knowledge of stainless steel piping and low-temperature materials
• Valid access course for petrochemical or gas facilities
• Welding Inspector certification (CWI, IWI, or similar)
• Proficiency in welding management software such as Spoolman or similar
• Knowledge of regulations
• Driving license B

Caldererías Indálicas is an industrial company specializing in boilermaking, assembly, and industrial maintenance, with national and international projects in the energy, oil & gas, and renewables sectors. We are looking to hire a Field Quality Technician for the piping and pipe assembly area at the Endesa LNG plant in Algeciras (Cádiz), a first-class liquefied natural gas storage and regasification installation in Spain.

• Control and monitoring of piping material traceability from reception to final assembly
• Inspection and verification of welded joints in critical piping: dimensional, visual, and documentary control
• Management and monitoring of non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Control and verification of Welding Books
• Monitoring and control of welding procedures (WPS) applied in the field
• monitoring of hydraulic test packs (Test Packs) and line walking (Punch list)
• Control of spool prefabrication and installation
• Management of Non-Conformities (NCR): identification, registration, monitoring, and documentary closure
• Compilation and real-time updating of the Final Quality Dossier
• Updating of Red Lines and As-Built documentation in the field
• Strict compliance with applicable international regulations
