Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar.
  • Between 5 and 7 years of experience in aeronautical design, preferably in aircraft interiors (ATA 25).
  • Experience in 3D and 2D design, development of parts, assemblies, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently in the management of design activities.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical design principles, production processes, and installation of systems and components.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical sector regulations and standards.
  • Experience in CAD tools such as NX and Teamcenter (experience with CATIA is also valued).
  • Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working under pressure and oriented towards meeting milestones and deliverables.
  • Advanced level of English (minimum B2).

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of aeronautical certification and CS-25 regulations.
  • Experience in interior modification or aeronautical retrofit projects.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical production and installation processes.
  • Previous experience working with clients in the Business Aviation sector.

The role

We are looking to hire a person for the position of Aeronautical Interior Designer (ATA 25), who will participate in the design and development of aircraft interior solutions, collaborating on modification, integration, and certification projects for clients in the aeronautical sector.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment collaborating with engineering, production, certification, and installation teams, ensuring that designs meet established technical, regulatory, and quality requirements.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop aeronautical interior designs (ATA 25) in 3D and 2D environments.
  • Design parts, assemblies, and generate associated technical documentation, including manufacturing and assembly drawings.
  • Prepare and update CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation for aeronautical modifications and installations.
  • Ensure that designs comply with certification requirements and applicable aeronautical regulations.
  • Collaborate with production, certification, and installation teams to ensure the feasibility and correct implementation of the developed solutions.
  • Participate in the definition of technical solutions taking into account manufacturing, machining, and aircraft integration processes.
  • Coordinate with different departments to manage technical incidents and ensure compliance with deliverables.
  • Manage work packages with progressive autonomy, assuming responsibilities for planning and technical execution.
  • Work in environments with demanding deadlines, optimizing resources and meeting assigned hour budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with aeronautical design standards, methodologies, and best practices.
