Senior Motor Control Firmware Engineer

• Degree or Master's in Electronic, Computer, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• More than 6 years of experience in product-oriented embedded systems development.
• Solid experience in electric motor control using Field Oriented Control (FOC) techniques.
• Knowledge of PMSM, BLDC, and induction motors.
• Advanced knowledge of control theory:
  • PID Controllers
  • Cascade control loops
  • Observers and estimators
• Extensive experience in embedded software architecture and firmware development.
• Experience in Bare Metal and RTOS development.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers based on ARM architectures.
• Experience with embedded communication protocols:
  • CAN
  • UART
  • SPI
  • I2C
  • USB
  • Ethernet
• Experience in firmware testing, integration, and validation.
• English level B2 or higher.

• Knowledge of power electronics.
• Experience with motor inverters, power supply systems, and battery management systems (BMS).
• Experience in HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing.
• Experience in motor test benches.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Design.
• Programming in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience in low-level driver and middleware library development.

We are looking for a Senior Motor Control Firmware Engineer to join an R&D team specializing in electronic systems and embedded software.

The selected person will technically lead the design, development, optimization, and validation of firmware and real-time control algorithms for electric motor drive systems. They will participate in all phases of the product lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in electronics, hardware, and product development.

This is a position oriented towards professionals with solid experience in motor control, embedded software architecture, and high-performance firmware development.

• Design and development of firmware for embedded systems based on microcontrollers.
• Implementation and optimization of advanced electric motor control algorithms.
• Development of robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
• Integration of firmware with electronic systems and hardware devices.
• Design and execution of validation, integration, and verification tests.
• Diagnosis and resolution of incidents using debugging and analysis tools.
• Collaboration with engineering teams throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Participation in continuous improvement activities and technological evolution of solutions.
