We are currently looking for a Firmware / Security Engineer to join a high-impact technology project, where you will participate in the development and securing of embedded solutions.

• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems.
• Program low-level software in C/C++.
• Implement security functionalities (Secure Boot, encryption, authentication, and firmware signing).
• Perform vulnerability analysis and security testing on firmware.
• Debug issues using debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, GDB, etc.).
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams in the design of secure architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and integrate secure development best practices.
• Document technical solutions and provide support in resolving vulnerabilities.

• You will have flexible working hours

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• High level of English.
• Experience in developing Firmware and Embedded Systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or ThreadX.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded architectures (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, ESP32, or similar).
• Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, GDB, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, and Bluetooth/BLE.
• Knowledge of embedded systems security: Secure Boot, cryptography, key management, firmware signing and encryption.
• Experience in vulnerability analysis and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Experience with Git, Linux environments, and continuous integration tools (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of static code analysis tools and security testing.

Actualmente buscamos un/a Firmware / Security Engineer para incorporarse a un proyecto de alto impacto tecnológico, donde participarás en el desarrollo y securización de soluciones embebidas.

Se trata de una oportunidad para formar parte de un equipo internacional en el que todo tu día a día será en inglés. Por ese motivo, es importante contar con un nivel alto en el idioma.

• Desarrollar y mantener firmware para sistemas embebidos.
• Programar software de bajo nivel en C/C++.
• Implementar funcionalidades de seguridad (Secure Boot, cifrado, autenticación y firma de firmware).
• Realizar análisis de vulnerabilidades y pruebas de seguridad sobre firmware.
• Depurar incidencias utilizando herramientas de debugging (JTAG, SWD, GDB, etc.).
• Colaborar con los equipos de hardware y software en el diseño de arquitecturas seguras.
• Participar en revisiones de código e integrar buenas prácticas de desarrollo seguro.
• Documentar soluciones técnicas y dar soporte en la resolución de vulnerabilidades.

• Tendrás horario flexible

• Formación en Ingeniería Informática, Ingeniería Electrónica, Telecomunicaciones o similar.
• Nivel alto de inglés.
• Experiencia en desarrollo de Firmware y Sistemas Embebidos.
• Dominio de C/C++.
• Experiencia con sistemas operativos en tiempo real (RTOS) como FreeRTOS, Zephyr o ThreadX.
• Conocimientos de microcontroladores y arquitecturas embebidas (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, ESP32 o similares).
• Experiencia con herramientas de depuración (JTAG, SWD, GDB, analizadores lógicos).
• Conocimientos de protocolos de comunicación como UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet y Bluetooth/BLE.
• Conocimientos de seguridad en sistemas embebidos: Secure Boot, criptografía, gestión de claves, firma y cifrado de firmware.
• Experiencia en análisis de vulnerabilidades y pruebas de penetración.
• Conocimiento de estándares de ciberseguridad como ISO 27001, IEC 62443 o NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Experiencia con Git, entornos Linux y herramientas de integración continua (CI/CD).
• Conocimientos de herramientas de análisis estático de código y testing de seguridad.
