Risk Manager - Digital Banking Project

Reporting directly to the CEO and playing an active role on the Management Committee, you will be the architect of the Risk Management System from the ground up. Design and comprehensive implementation of the Risk Management System (RMS), defining the risk appetite, policies, and operational limits.
Identification, measurement, and mitigation of credit, market, liquidity, operational, reputational, and ESG risks.
Establishment of models and dashboards for real-time monitoring of digital risks, fraud, and cybersecurity.
Ensuring alignment with the regulations of the Bank of Spain, ECB, EBA, and CNMV (Basel, DORA, AML/CFT).
Preparation of strategic reports for the Board of Directors and active participation in Risk and ALCO committees.
Leadership of contingency plans, stress testing, and recovery strategies against adverse scenarios.
Promotion of a risk culture ('risk-aware') across business, technology, and product areas.
Building and leading an agile, high-performance risk team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Must-Haves):
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in risk management within financial institutions (traditional or digital banking).
- Deep knowledge of quantitative models and analytical tools (Python/R, SAS, SQL, Power BI/Tableau).
- Specific experience in digital risks: cybersecurity, online fraud, and AI/ML applied to risk.
- Strong command of European and Spanish prudential and conduct regulations.
- Strategic leadership and proven ability to influence Senior Management.
- Analytical mindset, proactivity, and strong business orientation.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (Nice-to-Haves):
- Postgraduate degrees: MBA, Master's in Financial Risk, FRM, PRM, or CERA certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in creating or transforming risk functions within Fintech or neobank environments.
