  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven success building and scaling Data Product Management organizations.
  • Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Business Leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing governance, operating models, and organizational transformation programs.
  • Experience managing budgets, investment portfolios, and strategic planning activities.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare or health insurance industry experience.
  • Experience implementing Data as a Product operating models.

The role

The Head of Data & AI Products is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise data, analytics, and artificial intelligence strategy across International Health markets.

This role provides leadership for Data Product Ownership, Data Engineering, Data-related AI enablement, operational support models, and organizational capability development. The position serves as the key liaison between business leaders, CIOs, and regional stakeholders to ensure data and AI capabilities drive measurable business value while maintaining operational excellence.

The role leads a globally distributed team and is accountable for establishing a scalable operating model, driving data product ownership maturity, ensuring clear lifecycle ownership, and overseeing financial performance across the Data & AI portfolio.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Data Product Owner organization across International Health markets and lines of business.
  • Establish and mature a business-aligned Data Product Ownership framework focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Define ownership models, accountabilities, and success measures for enterprise data products.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize investments and align data capabilities with strategic objectives.
  • Drive adoption of Data as a Product principles across the organization.
  • Define and maintain the Data & AI operating model.
  • Establish and maintain RACI models clarifying accountability across: Data Product Ownership Data Lifecycle Ownership Data Engineering Production Support AI Solutions
  • Ensure alignment between business, technology, and operational support functions.
  • Partner with Data Engineering leadership to establish efficient intake, delivery, deployment, and support processes.
  • Clarify ownership boundaries across development, production support, incident management, and lifecycle management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, reliability, automation, and scalability.
  • Ensure successful transition of data products from development through production operations.
  • Lead the Data & AI engagement model across multiple international markets and business units.
  • Partner with regional CIOs and business leaders to prioritize market-specific requirements and investments.
  • Establish sustainable support models balancing local market needs with enterprise standards.
  • Provide leadership for strategic data and AI initiatives across International Health regions.
  • Provide executive oversight for strategic automation initiatives, including CDI and GOP programs.
  • Maintain governance processes for roadmap alignment, delivery readiness, demonstrations, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Ensure effective escalation and resolution of strategic risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Drive transparency and accountability through regular stakeholder reviews and governance forums.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global Data & AI organization.
  • Define organizational structure, workforce planning, and capability-building strategies.
  • Partner with HR and executive leadership on talent acquisition, succession planning, promotions, and career development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build leadership pipelines and develop future Data & AI leaders.
  • Manage Data & AI portfolio financials, budgets, forecasting, and investment planning.
  • Partner with finance teams and market leadership to ensure delivery against financial commitments and targets.
  • Develop business cases and value realization frameworks for data and AI investments.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize resource allocation to maximize business outcomes.
