The role

You will lead the daily operations of the Raw Materials area, guaranteeing efficient supply to production and compliance with safety, quality, and service standards. Additionally, you will coordinate the team and drive the continuous improvement of logistical processes.

What you'll do

  • Organize, manage, and supervise the activities of the warehouse team, including truck loading and unloading, material storage, inventory management, supply to production lines, and returns.
  • Guarantee compliance with Safety, Quality, and Food Defense standards, promoting a solid preventive culture.
  • Ensure appropriate storage conditions according to the characteristics of each material and oversee correct stock rotation.
  • Guarantee the supply of raw materials to the packaging lines following the FEFO methodology and in accordance with the Production Plan.
  • Perform periodic inventories of raw materials, empty glass containers, and returnable containers.
  • Calculate needs and coordinate transfers of raw materials between decentralized warehouses.
  • Supervise supplier delivery conditions and manage non-conformities.
  • Define, together with the Procurement area, supplier delivery plans.
  • Participate actively in the planning of the resources necessary for the shift, taking into account vacations, absences, and workload. Interpret the Master Production Schedule to calculate short and medium-term needs.
  • Drive the development and training of the team, aligning training needs with the Learning & Development area.
  • Maintain periodic follow-up and development meetings with team members.
  • Analyze and monitor the KPIs of the logistics area, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Participate in periodic meetings with other areas to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Define, standardize, and document processes according to Operational Excellence principles.
  • Collaborate in internal and external audits, as well as perform area audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Propose and implement improvements through technical and technological solutions.
  • Supervise the state of use and conservation of the resources and facilities under their responsibility, including the forklift fleet, infrastructure, and electronic devices.
