Qualifications we value

It will be necessary to hold some qualifying degree or accreditation for the performance of direct care functions, including:

• Nursing Assistant Technician - TCAE.
• Technician in Care for Persons in Situations of Dependency.
• Socio-sanitary Care Technician.
• Professional Certificate in Social and Health Care for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions.
• Legally recognized equivalent qualifications.

Previous experience in residential homes, socio-sanitary centers, geriatrics, or care for dependent persons will be valued, although we will also consider candidates with appropriate qualifications who wish to develop professionally in this field.

At ConfiARTE, we are expanding the care team of an important residential center for the elderly located in Bajamar, San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife).

We are looking to hire several Clinic Assistants, Nursing Assistants (TCAE), and Caregivers with a vocation for elderly care who wish to develop their profession within a stable project.

We are not looking to fill a single position. We are forming a team and have several planned hires, so we want to meet both experienced professionals and qualified individuals who wish to consolidate their career within the socio-sanitary sector.

Your mission

You will be an essential figure in the daily lives of the residents, providing close, professional, and respectful care that contributes to maintaining their autonomy, safety, well-being, and quality of life.

Main duties

• Support for residents in basic activities of daily living.
• Assistance with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Support with dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Performing mobilizations, transfers, and postural changes following established guidelines.
• Accompanying and providing direct care to residents.
• Observing possible changes in their condition and communicating incidents to the healthcare staff.
• Collaboration with nursing and the rest of the multidisciplinary team.
• Support in activities oriented towards maintaining personal autonomy.
• Ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the people being cared for.
